Happy New Week!
In this week's Mmm, we practice our Observer Self--the Witness to all the internal activity of mind, emotion, and body. And, we practice letting them all go by, returning to the breath, being the stillness within. Isn't that internal quiet relaxing?! Spend time in that calm quiet every day! Take time to love yourself by keeping your meditation time each day! Your practice will support you and put you in the flow and peace of life! Thank you for sharing in this time with me! Feel the Love, and I'll see you next Monday!

Happy New Week!
In this week's Mmm, we practice staying out of the drama of the mind (so often supported by life's everyday dramas!) by using our affirmation, "Take no thought". Our meditation time is our workout for where we are allowing our attention to wander. We can be in charge of our attention, and focus on the present moment, where there is clarity, calm, and solutions! Thank you for sharing in this time with me! Take time each day to love yourself by keeping your meditation time each day! Your practice will support you and put you in the flow and peace of life! Best wishes for your week! Feel the Love, and I'll see you next Monday! Happy New Week!
In this week's Mmm, I talk about how in many meditation practices, a focused eye position helps to focus the mind. We know also that our calm, steady breath helps to quiet the body and mind. So when we put both of those body functions (eye movement and breath) together, we have solid practical tools to help quiet the mind during our regular meditation practice! In this meditation, we incorporate focused eyes (open or closed, whichever you prefer) and calm breath to help still the mind. Anytime during your day, check in with your breath. Are you breathing shallowly? Are you breathing rapidly? Are you breathing at all, or are you holding your breath? The breath pattern mirrors the mind pattern, so breathing is a great measuring tool for what's happening in the mind. We can then take even just a couple of minutes to regulate our breath-- for example, breathing in to the count of four, and breathing out to the count of four-- to help the mind, reduce stress, and think more clearly during our day. Thank you for sharing in this time with me! Take time each day to love yourself by keeping your meditation time each day! Your practice will support you and put you in the flow and peace of life! Best wishes for your week! Feel the Love, and I'll see you next Monday! Happy New Week!
In this week's Mmm, we hang out in the bubble of awareness that surrounds us. This mindfulness practice helps us keep our attention present and grounded in the moment. You can tune in to your bubble of presence anytime throughout your day! Take time each day to love yourself by keeping your meditation time each day! Your practice will support you and put you in the flow and peace of life! Best wishes for your week! Feel the Love, and I'll see you next Monday! Happy New Week!
In this week's Mmm, I talk a little about the centuries-old (perhaps millennia!) meditation practice called Contemplative Prayer, and we practice using one of my favorite go-to prayers/affirmations: At the center of all love I stand, And nothing can touch me here; And from this center, I go forth And love and serve. (D.K./Alice Bailey) I say it more or less correctly through the meditation... :) In Contemplative Prayer, we take each word and phrase slowly, to let the essence of the idea seep deeply into every cell of our minds and bodies, slowing down the mind, focusing the attention, allowing more room for BEing in awareness. Practice with your own favorite prayer or affirmation. Say each word slowly, intentionally, and feel the deepening of your inner Presence. Your practice will slow your mind, stretch your ability to be still, and serve you well! Take time each day to love yourself by keeping your meditation time each day! Your practice will support you and put you in the flow and peace of life! Best wishes for your week! Feel the Love, and I'll see you next Monday! |
