Happy New Week!
The concept of "emotional sobriety" has been standing out to me this week, and it is exactly a by-product of being present, mindful, and the observer of our internal thoughts, emotions, body sensations. The more we are presently aware of what's happening on the inside, the more capable we are of managing those emotions that arise! In this week's Mmm, we practice (as always!) watching with compassion and presence those emotions, thoughts, body sensations that come and go when we are still. We are NOT these internal reactions! We are the Presence that watches them come and go from the Silence within. Commit to and practice your emotional sobriety exercises: daily meditation, and all day mindfulness! Thank you for sharing in this time with me! Take time to love yourself by keeping your meditation time each day! Your practice will support you and put you in the flow and peace of life!
