Who said parenting was easy?
When my oldest child was four years old, she had the run of the household. Everyone knew it but me! A friend invited me to a parenting class called "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent". As I applied my newfound skills, I soon began enjoying parenting much more--and my new parenting choices gave my kids a better start in life! Both my children are now adults. When they were teenagers, they inquired to their dad and me, "I want to know how you guys raised us so that we turned out the way we did, instead of like some of the other kids at school. I want to raise my kids that way, too." That is truly the highest compliment I have ever received! I give much of the credit to the principles of Love and Logic as we applied them in our home. I took that class three more times before becoming a facilitator. I still love reinforcing these parenting skills as I work with other parents! (Did I mention the methods taught through Love and Logic work well on adults, too?!) I offer parent coaching to help you better manage your kids and your own emotional reactions to You will learn how to take the values, guidelines, and worldview that fits you and your family, and support greater respect, responsibility, and return on your investment of love as a parent! "Parenting the Love and Logic Way" is the Love and Logic Institute's "GenEd" parenting course that I facilitate.
